“I am a salon suite business owner, a cosmetology instructor, freelance artist in the beauty industry and a network marketing business woman. As primarily an instructor in the beauty industry, I share how to be a business person, life balance, business balance, self-care, product ingredients (which highly affects the beauty industry) and life skills.

I personally have a strong desire to grow our youth into even better businessmen/woman than we have become. Our parents have paved the way for us to be better than they knew, and now it is our turn to make the next generation better than we know. Our youth is our future and we really need to support them not only in their dream careers, but as a Chingona in everything they do. It is great to build their life skills and personal growth into finding themselves (whether or not in the beauty industry), this is how we network them to the right people to help them see what opportunities are out there.

Through Chingona Community events and networking, I have been able to not only reconnect with old friends but make new friendships and network with many opportunities to help others. Some events help others in need, some events help the youth and some are to network and see how we can collaborate and share someone else’s business(es).

Being part of the Chingona Community I get to be part of something that really serves our community in so many ways. In return, others; happiness and growth feeds my happiness and growth.”
