OG Roz Lucero-Corona

Rozalyn “Roz” is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles with a BA in Business Administration.  She has grown into a Sales Manager and DEI leader by profession. Her passion is people and she, along with being a sales professional, is also involved in her community as founder of the Chingona Community. She enjoys volunteering and giving back to Loyola Marymount University and INROADS. 

Rozalyn started her career at Xerox Corporation where she began as an intern through a program called INROADS (non-profit organization) and has since paved her way as a successful sales leader.  At INROADS, Rozalyn was allowed the opportunity to be nominated and selected to attend a SVMP (Summer Venture in Management Program) at Harvard Business School, along with being an INROADS intern featured in their Annual Report.

Currently Rozalyn sits on an Alumni Board with INROADS (named Alumni of the Year in 2010), as well as the LMU Latino Alumni Association. She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Chingona Community

Rozalyn is a wife and a mother of four;  two boys, two girls. Ray, Raegan, Samantha and Roman. In her spare time, she enjoys the gym, music, wine tasting and traveling with her husband, Alex. 

Who is the Chingona Community?

This Woman’s Group is for those hard-working, Corporate females, Community activists, Women Leaders, anyone who has been assigned to a task that will not only help us empower one another but also help us grow as a female unit.

The Chingona Community was established in 2019 with a vision to connect and support women. The purpose of the Chingona Community is to come together on a regular basis to participate in professional development, workshops and seminars, networking and community volunteer work. The Chingona Community is dedicated to supporting, developing, and empowering women leaders in corporate, community, small business, and like-minded partners that believe, support and promote women throughout our community.

Chingona Community is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a growing network of 700+ members and a national reach of 3000+ followers; we are recognized in over a dozen states from California to New York. Today we have hosted and supported over 50 events centered around women, community engagement, and youth development. The Chingona Community is an organization dedicated to giving back to the community and fostering the growth of women leaders in their careers, community service, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

Rozalyn Lucero Corona

She has progressed and grown into a Area Sales Director for CORESTAFF Services supporting sales management for the Southern California Market and Founder and Executive Director of the Chingona Community. 

    Rozalyn is a wife and a mother of four;  two boys, two girls. Ray, Raegan, Samantha and Roman. In her spare time, she enjoys the gym, music, wine tasting and traveling with her husband, Alex. 

Tiffany August Franco

  • Tiffany is an HR executive specializing in nonprofit leadership, organizational structure, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, and change management, and she has worked in all functional areas of human resource management. In her role as Associate Vice President of Human Resources for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Tiffany is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for developing and driving the implementation of human resource strategies and initiatives that align with the Museum's business priorities and goals. Tiffany is an active member of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area HR roundtable for museums and cultural institutions, and a long-time member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest professional society dedicated to serving human resources professionals.

    Tiffany considers herself a lifelong learner and has a passion for education. She is a member of the board of directors for a nonprofit organization called I Demand Access (IDA), which supports access to education for girls in Malawi. Tiffany holds an MBA degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, a bachelor’s degree in English from Sonoma State University, and Human Resource Management Certification from UCLA.

    Tiffany loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is proud to be a part of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish community in Downey, and a patroness for the National Charity League (NCL) Whittier Chapter.

Deanna Solorzano

  • Deanna Solórzano serves as the Treasurer for the Chingona Community and will be working in conjunction with the Founder and President, Rozalyn Lucero, to manage the annual budget and ensure the fiscal compliance of this non-profit organization. Ms. Solórzano will also be responsible for the implementation of the directed giving program and the organization's grant-seeking activities. Deanna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2013, Deanna's Master in Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, with a concentration in Social Work and Business in a Global Society was conferred. Professionally, Deanna serves as the Academic Program Manager for the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine Orthopaedic Residency Program. Deanna has been at the University of Southern California in either a staff or student capacity since 2008. Ms. Solórzano has 13 years of professional experience in academia; particularly in the management of graduate study programs.

    Deanna’s greatest passions are education and social justice. These two ideologies were instilled in her from a young age and are shared by the members of her family. The entirety of her educational paths and career choices have been guided by these tenets, founded in social justice, and they will serve her well as she strives to be an agent of change for the Chingona Community.

Luz Favela, PHR, PHRca

  • Luz Favela is an HR professional with over 20 years' experience working across various industries including staffing, broker clearing, and HVAC. She holds a BA from the University of Southern California.

    She is currently a Regional HR Business Partner at RESSAC Climate Control Technologies, based in Glendale, California. Previously, she was an HR Generalist at ETC Global Group, parent company for a clearing and technology company from 2011 to 2017. Prior to that, she was a Staffing Manager at Corestaff.

    She excels at training, compliance, wage and hour law, performance management, recruitment and partnering with leadership at implementing solutions.

    In her free time, she enjoys traveling.
